DRESS: free people || SCARF: tj maxx || HAT: tj maxx || BOOTS: forever 21

I’m so excited to be a part of the Wear to Where tour, bringing together fashion and sewing bloggers for a super fun collaboration. It’s two full weeks of sewists and fashionistas battling it out on their blogs. Take a look at the schedule below, and you can check out which bloggers are styling which looks. I’m really excited to see the difference in how fashion bloggers and people who make their own clothes take on these occasions. In a way, I’m feeling super lame, because I SOOOOO wish I could design and make my clothes. These sewists are seriously cool and I can’t wait to see all of their creations!

I styled a “brunch with the girls” look using cozy textures in blush and burgundy. This embroidered Free People dress is so gorgeous on. I was in love the second I spotted it on the rack. A thick blanket scarf and over the knee boots are my go too accessories. I can’t seem to find the scarf online but you may want to check your local TJ Maxx store for it! You can shop the look further down in this post.

Pay a visit to these other fab ladies and see how they styled their brunch looks today!

That outfit is gorgeous. I’m loving that scarf and I’m always a sucker for high boots. Your outfit looks much more appropriate for a California brunch lol and if still feel fancy like.

  5. You’re totally channeling Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie from Sex in the City. I could totally see her wearing this outfit out with the girls to brunch. Great job! I love the hat! Such a fun outfit πŸ™‚

  6. I love this look! I want to take a blanket scarf to brunch with me, it would be like staying home in bed, but with better food!

  7. I love that you mixed different textures together, from the wool shawl to the cotton tunic dress to the suede boots to the felt hat! Super cozy! πŸ™‚
