THE PERFECT LEATHER MINI FOR FALL

Is there just something about a turtleneck and a high waisted mini skirt that gives off 90’s Rachel Green vibes? I don’t know about you, but I’m loving it!

I love a good leather mini skirt during the fall and winter months, especially in a fall color as pretty as this burgundy. I definitely think it’s a wardrobe staple, and can be paired with so many different things. A chunky knit sweater tucked into the front can make it a bit more casual, and a pretty blouse or bodysuit can dress it up. I went with a fairly fitted white turtleneck, because I wanted to be able to wear my taupe boots (which pair really well with white). The color of my boots is actually the “topo suede” and it looks like they have discontinued the “highland” style that I have, but there are a few places still selling them for a really deep discount (which is what I bought them at over the summer).

The skirt I’m wearing comes at a great price point, and feels really well made. The faux leather looks beautiful and feels very soft. Also – it’s actually a skort, with a thin pair of silky shorts underneath. I didn’t realize that when I ordered it, but I was super excited about it once I opened the package and tried it on. It actually comes in 2 other colors, a pretty olive green and the classic black. Obviously I want them all. You know from previous posts that I really love skirts from Chicwish. This one did not disappoint!

SKIRT: chicwish | SWEATER: old (similar here) | BAG: hm | BOOTS: stuart weitzman (more affordable)
