I walked into Target yesterday, looking for makeup remover wipes and patio cushions, when to my complete delight found out that the Victoria Beckham collection had just launched that morning! I knew that she was going to be releasing a line at Target, but I had completely forgotten when it was supposed to be available… until yesterday. It was about 6 p.m. and I knew I was a little late to the game because the display was already picked over, but I instantly fell in love with every piece in the entire collection. Poor Gregg and Huddy were just standing there as I was losing my mind in Target (yet again).
Needless to say, I tried on a few pieces and went home with one or two things, but the online selection is really where it’s at! I wanted to share my picks with you today, and then show you later this week how I styled the pieces that I managed to snag.
I absolutely love the mod, retro feel to this collection. From the simple shift dresses with scalloped edges, to the high waisted pants in fun prints and colors. The clothes are so fashionable, and so fun. According to the website, “The Victoria Beckham collection for Target celebrates the shared experiences between Victoria and her daughter. The result is a look that’s fashionable, yet free-spirited and timeless.” That’s right… there are matching pieces for little girls and toddlers. How could this get any better? My friends with little girls need to snag some of those straight-off-the-runway mommy and me looks ASAP!
I ordered this skirt last night, because it’s only sold online and I know it’s going to sell out fast. The floral print is so cute and fun for summer, and I love the piped edges. I tried on a few skirts and dresses in the store and I can tell you that the sizing seems to run a little big. The mediums were all a bit big on me.
