DRESS: Beach Lunch Lounge via TJ Maxx // BOOTS: Target // HAT: TJ Maxx (similar ) // WRAP: Solly Baby Wrap // NURSING SCARF: Hold Me Close Nursing // PLAID BLANKET: Old Navy
The first fall festival of the season, woohoo! This was one of baby Hudson’s first outings and it went great! He sleeps so well in his carseat when he’s moving around. I even tried one of my solly baby wraps out and he slept in that too. Gregg and I did a lot of walking around Art and Apples in Rochester. This was our first visit to Rochester too…such a cute town! There were so many vendors set up at this festival, I couldn’t believe just how big it was. Of course, I had to get some kettle corn right away. We also tried a caramel apple blossom that was really good. I should mention I made pumpkin pancakes for breakfast, and that I have a “thing” for fall food 😉
At two weeks post-baby I was feeling pretty good. I’m still only slowly becoming more active and just trying to rest as much as I can. I’ve found that shirt dresses are the easiest thing for me to throw on these days. I’m not fitting into my regular clothes yet, and these dresses are so easy to nurse in. Plus, who doesn’t love plaid for fall? This particular plaid dress I’m wearing is super soft and comfy. I found it at TJ Maxx for $30, which is about half of what it normally sells for, #Maxxinista forever!
