The blue plaid dress I’m sharing with you today if from a brand I’m quite familiar with – but a line of theirs I have yet to try. Spoiler alert…it’s fantastic. Motif (pronounced mo-TEEF) is Shein’s premium line. The clothing features higher-quality fabrics like wool and silk. It comes at a bit of a higher price point to reflect that. I was very eager to test out this line and see if it lived up to the hype. Let me tell you, it truly does.

One of the items I chose to order was this silky plaid dress. The shades of blue and orange are so beautiful together but it’s the cut and structure of this dress that really make it special. The fabric is beautiful and feels so nice on. The shape of the dress is super flattering. I love the slit and subtle ruching above it.
I’m wearing a size medium and would say it fits true to size.
I styled it with black western boots and a black chunky belt, I think it gives the dress (which is otherwise soft and feminine) a bit of an edgy vibe!
