It’s that time of year where I spend far too much time drooling over all the pretty fall clothes online. Anyone else with me? As soon as the leaves start to turn, I am ready for cozy sweaters! I always try and find a few budget friendly sweaters to add to my closet each September, that way I can try out some of the new trends without spending a ton (I tend to spend more on staples that I know I will wear again and again each year and won’t go out of style).
Some of the trends I’m really loving this year for sweaters are fun open back details, lace up and embellishment. That twist back sweater is currently in my cart and I can’t wait to break it out with jeans and skirts for date night! I love the rich yellow color of number 3, and how the tortoise shell buttons look against it. Pretty much anything with a low back makes my list, so I’m planning to snag all three of my bottom picks plus the ruffled one up top!
Size note – I wear either a small or medium in most sweaters, depending on the style and whether I want it to be oversized. I find most of these sweaters to run true to size.
