Happy Monday friends! I’m so excited to be teaming up with dressbarn for the launch of its new sportswear line roz&ALI. The line features really great wardrobe staples in a gorgeous ponte fabric. This black pencil skirt is one of my favorites. The styling possibilities are endless! Today I’m showing you the first way I styled it, with this classic black and white crochet trim blouse.
I’ve bought countless black pencil skirts during my professional career but a lot of them fell short of what I wanted. This one truly hits all the right marks. Ponte is thicker fabric, it’s super comfortable and has just enough stretch to really flatter any body shape.
Each year, as my style evolves, I learn a bit more about myself and better ways to shop. This year, I really want to focus on adding a few key staples to my fall wardrobe. In addition to this pencil skirt, roz&ALI has a gorgeous black blazer, a pair of dress pants, and a studded black dress that I am obsessed with. These are classic wardrobe pieces that every woman should have in her closet. This week, I’ll be showing you how I mix and match them to create looks that easily go from desk to dinner and beyond.
