In honor of my favorite trip of the year coming up these next few days, I decided it was time to finally finish the blog post I started after our trip last year, ha!
Each October we take a girls trip to Tulsa, OK for our Leaders Conference and this time, we decided to go in a day early and take the drive up to the Pioneer Woman Mercantile!
I snapped this pic of Heidi and Diane looking all cute when we got there. The little town of Pawhuska is absolutely charming and so cute. It was also much colder than we were prepared for that morning!
We wanted to eat at her restaurant and knew we would have to wait in line for a long time so we did that right away.
One of our favorite things on the menu was actually the chicken tenders! I know that sounds crazy but everyone said to try them and they were SO GOOD!
Above the Mercantile there is a cute coffee shop that we stopped at to grab some festive latte’s and treats to take with us to the hotel. The store downstairs was incredible. It was so fun to wander around for an afternoon.
We strolled around the town for a little bit before leaving – popping into charming stores and checking out the other restaurant that Ree Drummond owns there. If you are a fan of the Pioneer Woman (I have to admit, I don’t actually watch the show), I would absolutely suggest making a quick trip here one day! It’s such a cool experience.
Now if I could just get a trip planned to Magnolia, my life would be complete!
