I’m so excited to begin sharing fall decor with you this year! This orange and buffalo check fall mantle is one of three mantles I will be styling in different themes. I hope at least one of them inspires you as you begin to decorate your own home for the season!
Start with your base layer
I’m using this Threshold mirror as my base in this look. I actually painted it with the same black chalk paint that I used on my hutch and dining room chairs! I love how it turned out.
Once I had the mirror up there, I started layering in seasonal decorations. The wreath was my inspiration for this look. I love the colors in it and it looks super cute paired with the matching pumpkin banner. I’ve had both of these items for a few years now but they are still in stock! This wreath is large and full and super quality.
Also – I don’t know if you can see it in the close up photo below but the pumpkins on the banner have some sparkle to them!
Seasonal Touches
Next I started layering in seasonal touches like the pumpkin patch sign (old from Etsy) and these adorable wooden witch boots that I bought at a fall festival a few years ago.
While I can’t link either of those items for you since they’re old, there are so many good pumpkin patch signs out there right now! I’ll include a few of my favorites below!
I also have this one and love this one.
Cozy Textiles
To add in some fall coziness, I used pillows and a cozy knitted blanket. I kept them neutral because of how colorful and busy the wreath and banner are.
I love using a mix of textures when styling anything in my home and I think the sawgrass woven baskets are just perfect in almost any situation.
Let me know what you think of this first orange and buffalo check fall mantle look! I can’t wait to share more inspiration with you in the next few weeks!
