PEARL EMBELLISHED SKIRT

How FUN is this pearl embellished denim skirt that I’m wearing today!? I love a good black denim skirt. Each spring and summer, I get a ton of wear out of the few that I already have. This new one gives a fun pop of personality to your standard jean skirt. I love that it sits high on my waist and has just the right amount of distressing to make it feel vintage. The placement of the pearls is so perfect too – because it’s just enough of them to make a statement without overwhelming the entire look. For under $15 – I think everyone needs this skirt. I’m wearing a size small and I would say it runs just a tiny bit big.

I paired it with a fun and flirty floral top. I’m loving this style of top right now and I seriously can’t stop buying them! The ruffles mixed with a tie-front design makes it such a fun top to wear for a night out with girlfriends. It also looks great with a pair of high-waisted vintage jeans.

Another new item (I know – once I start shopping for a new season I just can’t stop) that I’m wearing and totally in love with are these “flatform” espadrilles. When I tell you they are like walking on a cloud, I MEAN it! They could be the most comfortable shoes I own. I’ve been loving the flat espadrilles that have a bit of a platform. They really are everywhere right now. The great thing about them is that they give you the comfort and the casualness of a flat shoe, but some height to elongate your legs. That’s important for me since I’m only 5’4. I’ve got my eye on a pair in black next!
