Getting cozy with my furry vest and over the knee boots. This is a twist on all black and a perfect date night look. Faux fur vests are great for fall when you don’t want to wear a coat but still want to be able to stay warm. I bought this one on major sale a few years ago and I wear it a ton each year. It’s super soft (like hudson’s baby blankets ha!) and very cozy. I layered it over a black and white printed dress that is a statement piece on its own. The details are so beautiful on this dress – from the ladder cutouts to the bell sleeves. It gives off a little bit of a boho feel.
Now to the boots. I am such a sucker for over the knee boots but I have high standards when it comes to them! Slouching is a big no no. I want a pair of over the knee boots that stay put after walking around. This pair – sadly – does not fit that bill. I’ve tried several cheap dupes of the Stuart Weitzman lowland (the pair I’m wearing included) and they just don’t measure up. I am constantly pulling these up because they slouch down to my knee. I will say they stay up much better when worn over leggings or jeans. Have any of you found a good look-a-like? If so, please let me know!
