Happy Monday, friends! I’m kicking off the week with one of my favorite sweater dresses for the season. It’s appropriately named the “ski weekend sweater dress” and it totally does make me want to sit in a ski lodge sipping spiked apple cider. Can you tell I’m feeling festive? Not only did we wake up to a little blanket of snow today in Michigan, but my mom and I finished putting Christmas decorations out on Sunday. Hudson really loves the string lights this year … and the bells. I posted a video of him on my snapchat last week carrying around this massive bunch of bells and making the loudest noise possible. It was absolutely adorable! I’m enjoying watching him really experience his “first” Christmas. He was just a few months old last year, so it was special but it wasn’t as much fun as this year will be.
Ok, back to the dress! I love the geometric print around the waistline and the cozy feel to the fabric. The cuffed sleeves and the turtleneck are also a nice touch. I’m BIG on sweater dresses this time of year and I’ve found that Charming Charlie is a great place to get them. Mine is linked above, plus I included some of my other favorites under the “shop the look” section. Another trend I’m also wearing here that I love for winter is the monochromatic look. Try matching your boots to your sweater dress and it really pulls everything together!
