Our master bedroom has come a LONG way since we moved in a year ago. From aqua colored walls with a rhinestone mirror to this calm and cozy oasis. I wanted it to feel like a spring farmhouse bedroom with soft colors and some black accents.

I finally found the perfect art to put above the bed. This set came with 4 frames and I’m using the other one downstairs. I had to stalk these prints online to catch them when they came back in stock! Make sure you subscribe (I used the target app) to get notified when they do come back if you are wanting to snag them. I especially love that they are float frames so the texture and color of the wall shows through and you don’t have to worry about matting that is too white for your wall color.
We decided to paint the fireplace mantle a few weeks ago because the white was just blending in to the wall. The new black paint really makes it standout and adds some needed contrast to the room. We used Tricorn Black by Sherwin Williams in a satin finish. Ever since I painted the dining room hutch with some black chalk paint, I’ve been on a mission to use more black around the house lol!
One of my favorite decor pieces in the house is this Kraft paper scroll in our bedroom. I’ve bought a few of these now and switch them out seasonally around the house. The shop that makes them is called Cottonwood Shanty and it’s only about a 2 hour drive from here in Ohio, so I’m dying to visit when we do our trip out to Amish country!
