Styling a Holiday Entryway

Amy and I worked together to style my entryway for the holidays and we hope it brings inspiration for your own home! This entryway look is FULL of vintage nostalgia and festive vibes. You can shop everything on the VC Wares website or in store!

And in case you are wondering, YES she can come do this to your house too! She offers interior decorating/styling packages. Just get in touch with her and she can give you all the details!

Vintage holiday Entryway with flocked garland from VC Wares

This entryway look features the most beautiful and realistic looking flocked garland, matching wreath and sprays. When I say Amy has the best greenery in her store, I mean it. It’s always super realistic and beautiful and will fly out the door each holiday season!

I love the colored bulbs here. They are so different than something I would normally decorate with and have such a vintage vibe to them. I especially love how she pairs this greenery, which is a little bit glam, with very natural and rustic elements.

I asked Amy for her top three tips when it comes to styling an entryway. This is what she had to say…

“1. It’s nice to come home to… Does it bring you joy?

2. Mixing materials is key. Do you have Wood? Metal? Glass? Greenery? And finally Texture in the form of baskets, runners, pillows, a throw, etc?

3. Did you stick to a color story you love? One or two shades or tones with an obvious pop of color to pull it all together (which can also be a neutral, black, etc.)

And our tips are pretty much key for styling any space in your home.

We prefer updated, but not overly trendy styles. Timeless pieces with unexpected pops of whimsy. Being careful not to go overboard in one direction or trend, so you can make little tweaks here and there (vs finding out your entire space is outdated and you feel stuck and overwhelmed with the need to change everything) as you continue to surround yourself with items and pieces that may spark a memory, tell a story, and always being you tranquility and joy. ❤️”
